I bought a Sears Calypso Washer made by Whirlpool in 2001 and it has been fairly reliable until recently (but we did not use the machine heavily). Last year it started having problems during the cycle, stopping to display the SL and LD lights. I figured some ways around the problem but now it is impossible to make the machine work. I also find that participation in the litigation closed just two months ago! From what I am reading online this machine is a repair nightmare so I am going to junk the washer buy a replacement and place a lifetime ban on Sears and Whirlpool products.
