Ripped off about determination services and charging reconnection fee

I have had T-mobile for a long times. I tried to pay my bills ontime; however, last month when I was making an online payment, I might miss one digit of my checking account number, thus the transaction did not go through. They did not notice me about this and determinate my services within a week. I used my cell to call 611 and talked to the rep. He told me that my service has been determinated becase of my late payment. Usually when I did not pay ontime, they will charge me the late fee and add it to the next cycle bill. So this time it's kind of weird the way they determinate without notice. So I explained to him that I did tried to pay, and I thought the transaction went through. But if it did not go through then let me make the payment right at that moment. He took my checking number and charged me that balance. Then he told me I have to pay 40$ if I want to continue using the service. I told him that I don't want to pay that money because this should not happen at the first place. T-mobile has never noticed me about determination of my service.

So I request to cancel my service. He said he will cancel and I only have to pay $9 for the two days that I have been using the phone. Then after that I received the bills declared that I owe $49. THe reconnection fee was applied after I request to cancel. The only reason I cancel is that I did not want to pay that reconnection fee. Why the hell do I still have to pay it now while my service is cut off? T-mobile reps were very impolited to me and make me feel like an idiot. What should I do now? It's only $40 but I can't stand the way they treated me. Can some one help me, please? Who should I contact about this case?
