WE bought a new t.V. And had for 1 1/2 months. Had problems with it and brought it in. Repair man said it was picture tube that was bad. Phillips told them to replace other parts first. Four months later and two promises of giving us a new t.V. They decided to replace the picture tube.
We asked for an extension in writing of our warranty. They say they cant provide us one in writing. Everytime we call we get channeled through at least five people, they say they cant just direct us to someone in charge. Full of apologies - about two in every sentence. We get a different story from each person we talked with at Phillips customer service. How do they think i can trust them that the t.V. Is fixed and that i have an extended warranty.
I would prefer to have my money back that i paid for the thing and take my business to a different manufacturer.
I never dealt with such stubborness and deception in all my years. They company has put twice the amount of the value of the t.V.into trying to repair it. They should have listened to their repair man and we would of had back three months ago with no arguements from me but they decided to put it off. I hope that other people would step forward on this company and put them out!!!
