In January, I received, via US mail, a flyer from Directv advertising that upon ordering, I would receive a portable DVD player as a free gift. I followed the redemption process and within 6 weeks, received a DVD player, not a portable DVD player as promised.By e-mail, I contacted DirecTV about their mistake.

I received an e-mail saying that DirecTV would correct the mistake and would send the portable DVD player as promised. No portable DVD player ever arrived. This process continued several more times with DirecTV always promising to ship the portable DVD player and no portable DVD player was ever received. Finally, I received a call from a customer service person named April that told me I wasn't going to get what was promised.

This is an excellent example of Customer No Service.
