I recently bought 2 cell phones from the local Sprint store, both of which came with $50 rebates. After waiting the required time they sent me a check for $75. I sent them an e-mail asking where the other $25 was. They responded with something to the affect of, "Oh yeah, we'll get right on that". It's obvious if I didn't complain I would have been shorted $25. Rebates across the board are nothing more than a huge money making scam. Rarely do you receive a rebate as advertised without several phone calls or e-mails.
