I purchased an AKAI television from Conns in Houston, Texas. About 6 months after getting the television, it would go black but you could hear the sound. We contacted customer service several times with Conns and it was always Oh, you have to contact AKAI. Every time I made a payment at the Willowbrook, Texas location I would always complain to someone about it.including so called supervisors. Always the same story, I will have someone contact you. That has never happened. As, I've purchased several items from them; my revenge on the poor customer service is that I will NEVER purchase anything from Conns again. Now that the warranty has run out and the television does not work, I took it to the shop. A television that cost over 1000.00 is going to cost me over 500.00 to repair. Still no contact from Conns or AKAI.
