On 08/05 we purchaced a toshiba computer for our son. The cost was over $900. One month after the origanl warranty our son's computer went out. We took it to Best Buy and they told us we did not purchace the extended warranty. We explaned that we had told the salesperson that we wanted the extended warranty. We were of course out of luck trying to get them to honor the warranty. We had them send the computer in to see what was wrong and they told us when it came back that the hard drive and the motherboard were out. The computer was only 13 months old. We called toshiba and I was put on hold for about 20 min. And then I was cut off. This happened three more times. When I finally got to talk to someone I explained what happened and asked if they could fix it for a reasonable price and they told me they could not help me. Well my son now has a 13 month old $900 computer that is junk. I will never ever buy another toshiba product or ever buy anything again at Best Buy.
