My wife and I had a contract that was always going over our budget. We called to work out a payment plan and turn off the phones; my wife was told that Verizon didn't do payment plans for this because it would go straight to collections. So they worked out a different plan that would not change our contract (they added 6 more months by the way).
We were told about nights and weekends and the day rates, but we were NEVER told about Verizon to Verizon calls. They always advertise it as being free, so what were we supposed to think? It was not on our new contract as any different. So we talked to family (Verizon to Verizon) to save everyone money.
Now we have a little over $1,000 to pay them plus a late fee and a late payment. They're still not willing to turn off our phones. They told me that nothing could be done. So here I am with a $1,280.86 bill and only $188.20 was supposed to be billed. I want to warn everybody that reads this to stay away from this company.
