Rebates rip-off, won't honor rebates by add up # of rebates from different promotion periods. I purchased Kingston's memory products from Buy.com. I made sure all rebates came from a different promotion period so they are not over the limit. When I received a reject notice, I called the phone number on the notice, an a phone rep told me that the company will not honor the rebates because they added all the rebates from all the vendor and all different promotion period.
This the rip-off method to get people buy their products with rebates to made them seem like a good deal then refuse to honor the rebates. I hope the phone reps works for Kingston, not a Rebates Clearing house, because Kingston just lost another customer and they don't even notice.
