I was found a rebate on wheresmyrebate.com for 2 cingular Razor phones. If I bought two on the family plan and paid 400 dollars I could get the phone and I chose cingular. I could not send in the rebate form or the bills showing i paid for 180 days but no later than 220 day. So I waited, meanwhile I was deployed 800 miles away. I kept up with the forms and paperwork that came with the phone. The first response was I didnt pay on time. I faxed them the receipt showing that was a credit and I had always paid my bills ontime., i had overpaid...
I increased my plan from 700 family talk minutes to 1400 minutes after I was deployed It took a month for them to review and a month to process and then an email said the check was on the waybut it would take a month to get to me. After A month I was contacted them again. They apologized that they had not sent the check and said they were not going to. I have kept these emails. It was now void bacause I had changed the plan. The agreement said I could not lower the plan. Did not say I could not raise the plan.
They have given me nothing but grief. I am deployed, away from family. My job at home paid more but I am dedicated to my country. I have almost begged for my 400 dollars back. Now when i go to whereismyrebate.com I can't even find my name. This has been going on since Feb. I bought the phone in Sept They have 400 dollars of rebates I paid and they have not even tried to send any back. Why should looking at a rebate take another month and reviewing a month. They do not want to send my rebate. I am determined to get the rebate I have an agreement.
