I have dealt with Tiger Direct for sometime now and have finally stopped buying from them altogether. I feel they offer items with great rebates only to find out that they had no intention of giving out the rebate through their 'front' company... Onrebate.com.
I probably purchased an average of $500/month from them, but it made no difference when I complained about their 'front' company onrebate.com.
My stories are very similar to the ones already stated about rebate claim denials, but I must add one thing that no one else mentioned. I do get my rebates immediately when I allow them to keep 10%... No problems, no questions asked, no missing signatures, no address conflicts, no wrong??? UPC code, etc. That seems to be the key... If you don't take the full rebate they will fulfill your request. Pretty lousy if you ask me.
What a difference between onrebate.com and a company like — who actually make it easy for you to get a rebate and quickly. They don't have the great deals on all items... But they also don't screw you like Tiger Direct and onrebate.com
