Ripoff Con Artists preying on people in bank parking lots in

About twenty after four today (4-26) I was walking out of a Wells Fargo Bank off Mae ann and McCarren blvd in Reno, NV. These two white guys in a white suv approached me as I was about to get into my truck. I only really talked to the driver - he was about 5'9, and his head was shaved and he had bleached blonde hair, and two earrings in each ear.

At first I thought they were just asking for directions so i went up to their truck to talk to them. They mentioned they worked for Worldwide Audio out of Rancho Cordova, CA and were to meet their boss Paul Hughes at the Atlantis hotel. They said their company had a ordered extra speakers etc and were just trying to get what they could for the ones they had left.

I had been looking to buy a surround sound system for my home for a while now so they unfortunately caught my attention. They parked and then opened up the back. There were two big tower speakers in the back and also the theater logic home cinema L6 (which i ended up buying). He then pulled out a magazine catalog and showed me it was worth $2100.00 and continued to explain how the store ordered too many and weren't charged for them so he and his friend were out to make a few bucks on the side. He then showed me the system. Everything was still in the shrink wrap so I figured it was untampered with and it just seemed legit. Anyway, he asked how much I would pay for them and I said a couple hundred so he immediately agreed and then had the odacity to follow me into the bank. I pulled out $200 cash and gave it to him and also had the bank photocopy the invoice he had in his hand. The number on the invoice was (916)-851-1194 and the listing was in Rancho Cordova, CA. It all seemed legit, their truck even had a company logo of Worldwide audio on the back left window written in white letters, and the date on the invoice was todays date.

I meant to get their liscense plate number but they drove off too quick for me to catch it. I then called the number on the invoice and found out it was disconnected. I then went back into the bank and asked them if they had a video recording of these guys since they drove around the drive through but their cameras are not made to catch plate numbers! They said if I file a police report I can get the video feed of the guy in the bank with me so I could at least get his picture filed on the net & with the police. If anyone has any information on these guys please let me know.
Thanks

Kevin
