Rebate scam ripoff

I wanted to add my two cents in regard to LetsTalk.com and their rebate redtape. I have been struggling with them for months now. I have three $30 rebates (total of $90) owed by them for Verizon service Samsung A650 phones. I have emailed them, faxed them and mailed them every document they request.

Still I receive a post card months later stating I have not sent the proper documentation giving them the info needed to process. They give me another deadline to resubmit and the merry-go-round begins once again! They keep asking for the same thing (copy of my carrier bill showing that the previous balance was paid in full). I send them 5 months worth of bills all circling the 'Account Summary' stating previous balance, payment received date, amount received and balance forward of $0. I also included a really nifty 'Payment History' detailing every single payment ever made to Verizon. I took this off Verizon's site from my account info. Tell me what it is I am not understanding here? I give them what they want and they still reject it. What gives? I will once again resubmit with a threatening letter this time.

I plan to report them to every site, agency and consumer advocate group I can find. Not because the money is so important, because the frustration and deception is out of control. A class action suit would be appropriate here. Maybe then the companies who run their businesses this way would think twice. I will never fall for the rebate gimmick in the future. What a rediculous waste of time. The savings just isn't worth it.
