Vonage is quick to sign you up but to cancel that is another story. I have spent about 10 hours trying to cancel my vonage account. They do tell you if you cancel within 30 days you can get a full refund. Well when you decide to cancel you can't even get someone to cancel your account. I set up my account on January 18 and canceled it on February 1st, February 5, February 6, and also on February 10. Finally on February 10th they canceled my account. They said there would be a $40 termination fee. They they had the nerve to deduct 27 bucks from my account for the service on February 19th. I had to call and deal with them again. Now I have spent a little over three hours trying to find out how I can get reimbursed my money. I got hung up on February 22, called back they said I would have to return my device I got for free and then I would be reimbursed. I sent it to them through DHL so I could track it. I called March 1st to make sure they got it and the lady (Jackel) told me I would get my my refund returned to my card within 48 hours. Well today is March 24th and still no refund. I called in and talked to a Percilla and told her what was going on and she said she would transfer me to a supervisor. Well I got the dial tone. I called back and got a Phil - 24866 which told me he would fill out a form and that I should have my 27 bucks and initial 11 bucks returned to my account within 48 hours along with a return call from a supervisor. Well we will see in 48 hours. If not I would like for a attorney to contact me or a class action suit since it seems as though I am not the only one going through this.
