I followed the instruction meticulously, having been through rebate h*l before. Sent in the original barcodes cut from the packaging, as instructed. Waited 10 weeks. They said, "We have no record of your submission. It must have been lost in the mail. Send us copies of the barcodes." Of course, the barcodes were the only thing I didn't make copies of, and I can't copy them now because they made me submit them. I could almost tell they were snickering.
This was T-Mobile, for a $30 rebate. They don't seem to care that they have a pissed-off customer out here. It's just way too easy for them to say "We never got it, " and keep my money. This is one of those very rare cases where I'm willing to say "There ought to be a law..."
I've complained to BBB and my State Attorney General. Don't know what else to do.
