I applied for a $3 rebate on the purchase of three tubes of horse dewormer from Pfizer Animal Health using a form I found at www.horse.com. The form said you had to send in 1 UPC barcode & proof of purchase for each of 3 tubes of specific dewormers to get a $3 rebate. Nowhere was it stated that only one form was valid per person. I sent in proof of purchase of 6 of the stated dewormers with 6 cut out UPC barcodes with 2 rebate forms. Today I just received a postcard saying that my rebate claim was invalid because the rebate requires 3 original UPC barcodes from the product packaging. This is a completely invalid reason for rejection - I can't resend them because I've already sent them!!! All I have left is the boxes with holes in them where I cut out the barcodes (and two boxes are missing because I already used the dewormer and chucked out the boxes). I still have the receipt of purchase as I only sent a copy of that since the original was not required. I was cheated big time! They tell you to send the originals so you don't have them anymore, then tell you that they didn't receive them and of course you can't prove you sent them (except for the boxes with holes in them) nor can you resend them! PLUS I am meant to submit the missing information by 17th Oct. It's the 15th Oct right now - so it's impossible for USPS to get the information to them in time even if I had duplicates of the UPC barcodes I've already sent to them! They are crooks!
