These two stores offer one of lowest prices for a Sony DSC-H1. I ordered on the internet and the order was accepted. The next day I received an e-mail and a telephone call telling me that I must call back the store to verify the order or it would be cancelled.
When I called back the sales person/manager tried to first sell me memory for the camera. I told him I already had it. He then wanted to sell me batteries and a charger for $100.00 telling me that the camera did NOT come with batteries. I knew that it did. When I turned down his offer he called me a "loser" and a "f _ _ _ ing A _ _ _ _ _e"! And then told me that the ordered was cancelled. He wouldn't deal with a loser.
I called back. The same person answers sales and customer service and is also the "manager". He told me once again that the order was cancelled. Wawadigital works the same way. I believe they are one and the same. They use the same tactics.
Believe me, I was well manered and polite. I even expressed that I didn't want to purchase additions to the camera because I went to his store to SAVE money. Still very nasty. Stay away. I do wish there were some recourse. I am going to try to go to the New York and Connecticut Departments of Consumer affairs and report them.
