All anyone needs to do is Google "Canon E-18" to find that this company has a serious problem with their digial cameras, especially the S110. They apparently fear a recall and are denying that their products are defective.
They refused warranty service and claimed that the camera had been abused. This is a copout. I filed a complaint with their corporate headquarters and all they would offer was a twenty percent discount on the $150 repair bill. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office of New York and, though they were helpful, my claim was again denied.
