I just ordered a Canon Rebel XSi with 5 lens package from Getitdigital (through ebay) and I found them to be really suspicious. I haven't actually PAID for it yet, thank god. They called me this morning to confirm information, and then talked me into upgrading. They claimed Canon is running a deal for a 3-year extended warranty for $250, and that if I purchased that, they would also upgrade me to "HD" lenses, as opposed to standard, and throw in a 12 hour battery, instead of the 30 minute battery that comes with it. First of all, I don't know THAT much about cameras, but I was pretty sure there is no such thing as "HD lenses" for still cameras. I called Canon, and they confirmed that. Also, Canon does not offer extended warranties. Finally, from what I can see, there is only one battery that Canon sells for this camera. So, whether the camera itself is legitimate or grey-market, they lied to me. I will be contacting ebay to explain why I won't be paying for this package!
