Please contact me if a class action law suit should start against Cingular.
I had an AT&T family plan with the phone insurance for almost 2 years. When my phone broke and I went to get it replaced, Cingular had taken over AT&T.
I was told there are no AT&T phones and my choices were to finish paying on a plan without the phone, pay the cancelation fees for 4 phones OR sign a new contract with Cingular and BUY ALL NEW PHONES! As AT&T phones do not work on the Cingular network or plans. Another RIPP OFF
As I run a part time business with my cell phone I was forced into a corner and ended up with all new phones (for the 1 that broke and had insurance on it) and a new nightmarish contract.
I have been double billed and asked to pay over 500.00 in cell phone bills in under a month.
I have spent between 6 and 7 hours on this nightmare. I have filed complaints with the FTC and FCC.
I did get one call from corporate saying they would give me a one time credit of 133.00.
I have paid out over 800.00 in buying new phones and plan charges. All for one phone that had insurance that should of cost me 35.00.
I would LOVE to join a class action law suit, I just can't find one.
The customer service is HORRIBLE, terrible connections and I feel SO RIPPED OFF it is unbelieveable.
I want out of this contract and I want my money back. Cingular just screws those poor suckers of us who had AT&T contracts and phones.
