I am a working class person who got badly screwed by Nokia Tracfone.
I purchased a Tracfone from Wal-Mart's for $30 dollars along with 2 service cards for an additional $40 on July 22.
I called customer service at least four times in the last three days in order to set up service.
I have owned this phone since Friday 7/22 and it is now Tuesday, 7/26 and I still do not have service.
Every time I call I am told by their customer service department that they are updating their files.
Last night I heard a very low beep on the phone and discovered someone had taken 10 units of time off of it.
To top it off, Nokia gave me someone else's phone number in the Kansas city Kansas area.
I sent them an e-mail today and they replyed by sending me the letter back along with a "thank you for contacting us" letter.
No response to my e-mail!
I am now stuck with this phone and $40 in unused time.
I wish someone had warned me about this Mexican based company!!
