This is the second Daewoo DVD player model DVG-5200s that I have owned. Both self destructed and won't play DVD's just after warranty ended in the exact same manner and at about the same time after warranty period. Their warranty is useless to boot. This is obviously a marketing ploy to get consumer to purchase more products so Daewoo can make more money - aka consumer theft. Corporate malfeasance in it's purest form. This practice should be outlawed. Where are our lawmakers? In the pockets of the corporations thats where. Can you say Tort reform??? Do not buy their products if you are prone to throw them onto your front lawn when you find out they are a complete disappointment.
