I had purchased a Motorola / boost mobile i205 with nextel walkie talkie, text message, ect, ect. I had no problems up until 4 mnths after I had purchased it.
While traveling from Sacramento to LA half way there I went to use the phone and noticed where it read the time it read NO SERVICE and would not call out nothing. Note the phone was never dropped or smashed gotten wet or been left in the heat.
So after contacting boost mobiles customer reps I had been advised to reach Motorola. So an hour on the phone it seemed like and answering a million trivia questions I was informed the phone was still under warranty but it had to be sent to them and I would receive it back in no more then 13 working days.
I was reassured that the phone was coverd under Motorola's warranty guidelines. After hanging up with motorola I shipped it via the post office all of four dollar it cost overnight.
4 days later it returns. Under the impression it would be repaired under the warranty it was not. From the coversation with the service rep there was no mention of it being a roll of the dice, 50/50 chance, or a complete waist of my time to send it in.
After inspecting it they determined it had physical damage sheilds are lifted and board is warped. PERIOD! Complete waist!
