Daewoo Electronics ripoff dishonest about warranty and support

I have purchased Daewoo DVD-9000N on 10/11/03 for $150 after only 8 months of usage it broke down it wouldn't play any DVD's at all. I contacted the support at 1-800-323-9668 and they notified me that the warranty is 1 year on parts and 3 months on labor and that I have to pay $50 for the labor to fix the DVD player.

I have sent the player to them with the money order for $50. I have received the product back after one month of being in repair and it was still doing the same thing. The only thing they did was that they updated the bios version of the software that is running on the player. I have contacted them immediately and they told me that there will be someone contacting me from the main office to resolve the issue.

That was almost 2 months ago. I have been calling them for past month and a half and asking them what is going on they told me I have to wait until someone contacts me. I have even left messages to the management with no result. I will talk to my laver about what next can I do.

I will never buy any of Daewoo Electronics products again and I advise you to do the same. Just go to Amazon and read some of the reviews on that dvd player. You will see.
