On October 30 I purchased a LikomUSA 19 monitor from Fry's Electronics. At that time LikomUSA was offering a $50 rebate. I filled out the rebate form per Likom's instructions and mailed the form October 31. The form asks that the purchaser attach a copy of their receipt, serial number sticker and bar code (UPC) sticker from the box. I did comply with their instructions. I have tried calling them and their automated phone system leads me to an extension that no one answered. I even sent an e-mail, to which no response has come. After a week. So I have written to the following agencies:
California Department of Justice
Public Inquiry Unit
P.O. Box 944255
Sacramento, CA 94244-2550
Steve Cooley
District Attorney's Office
County of Los Angeles
210 W. Temple St.
Los angeles, CA 90012-3210
Edgar Edwards - City Investigator
Deputy A.D. Hall - Sheriff's Department Liason
Business Relations Department - City of Industry
15651 E. Stafford St.
City of Industry, CA 91744
In my letter I also includes this web site and a print out of the complaint list regarding LikomUSA.
If anyone else is having, or has had a problem with LikomUSA, I would suggest writing to each of these agencies. Do not bother with the Better Business Bureau. When these agencies write companies, the companies are far more likely to actually respond. And always make sure that the letter is neat, professional, matter-of-fact and to the point. Of course send copies to Likom.
