We bought a Likom 17" Monitor Dec. 2000. There was a $50.00 rebate and to this date (11-15-01) we still have not received our money. I have gotten a runaround from Likom when I get a human and not a recording. I contacted Fry's in Arlington this week and asked for the store manager. He was not very pleasant and said he would give me the rebate section.instead of directly putting me on hold and transferring the call I heard him tell someone he had informed everyone that answers the phones not to give him any calls from customers.
The lady in rebates at Fry's said to fax all information and she would call the manufacturer. I told her I didn't care who paid us our rebate—Likom or Fry's. She said my problem is with Likom. I informed her that Fry's advertised the monitor with a rebate and that Fry's got there money and we didn't. She said they don't know what the manufacturer does about rebates. I told her it's evident what they do&they don't pay. I believe almost 11 months is way to long to have to wait for our rebate refund.
