I got my CINGULAR WIRELESS bill and there's $80 in charges for "roaming charges" supposedly made to/from CANADA when the phone has never been there and I myself was right here in Texas when I was supposedly making/receiving calls in Montreal & Quebec City!
LANCE BREWSTER of Cingular told me that it is "impossible" that there could be any mistake because some "tower" in Canada recorded my phone's "footprint" there. I see that others have had problems with getting charged "roaming" fees in their local areas. Well, guess what, I am paying for a nationwide service so in order to screw me they have to claim that I was in Canada! These folks are CRIMINALS!
On top of that, Mr. Brewster tells me that the regulatory authority I should complain to is the California Public Service Commission. After some research I discover that this is a lie as well: the authorities to complain to are the FCC!
