Man! After reading all these reports and rebuttals on Cingular, I am angered even more - realizing that there's tons more out there like me who have been burned over and over again by Cingular.
I've never been so humiliated and upset and disgusted with a phone company in my life, as I was with Cingular. They have done everything to their customers exactly opposite of what a good, honest, friendly customer-service type company should do! They lie to you, they are rude and condescending to customers on the phone, they DO lie on peoples' bills and add numbers on there that you've never heard of or dialed. A lot of people DO keep logs of their phone usage just for this very purpose. Howw dare some of you ex or current employees call these clients or other ex-employees of Cingular liars, or say they just don't know what they are talking about. How dare you act like you know everything. You don't know jack about that person's experience or situation with Cingular - how can you sit there and accuse ANYONE of being wrong or right, or saying they are just angry or being cheap - wanting to not "Pay" their bill! How dare you &and let me just call you by name. I am talking to J.in Springfield who basically called Rick a liar in not so many words - as if he just made up everything he said about being an ex-employee of Cingular and what he knows to be true. I believe Rick 100%. Why would he lie? What does he have to gain from it? Are you that crazy "J" that you believe he cannot possibly be telling the truth about those meetings and what got said? Where you are and where he was is 2 different places, and things DO get done differently in different places. Just cause those things didn't take place where you are, doesn't mean they didn't with Rick. I believe with all my heart that everything Rick said is true, and he may have even left a lot out! Cingular does do whatever it can to prevent credits to it's customers, and they lie about whatever they can, to try and trap the consumer into thinking they are dumb, they made the mistake, they made the call, they owe the money, etc... Cingular makes me so sick... Hang on... I had to throw up!
And to E in Oklahoma - how dare you tell someone to "Get Over It" and get a different provider! Just like they said in their rebuttal, do you feel like paying the cancellation fees, and fixing the credit problems from cancelling a contract, or going through the expense and hassle and EVERYTHING ELSE involved with cancelling a provider and starting all over again to find a new one, that might even be worse (well no one is worse than Cingular)? NO, I didn't think so. And all of this for a mistake the customer didn't even make!!! Don't tell someone to get over it. You get over it. Get over the fact that you can't handle the truth and it makes you feel just a little insecure to know that you are with a loser of a wireless company. These people DID get over it and fly with someone new, but it was a royal Pain in the &, and it probably caused a few gray hairs. Would you like to pay for their future boxes of hair color because of Cingular? I didn't think so, you need to shut up in Oklahoma.
And to Kacey - youre just as bad as what's it's name above, E. How dare you talk that way to Rick like he don't know what he's talking about. You are something else... Rick oughtta know. He was there, and I KNOW he's tellin the truth. So there. La la la lala la la. I can't hear you!!!
Rick you just ignore these losers, ok? I say thumbs up to Miss Andrea, Rick, Traci in NJ, Sue in Fl, and Lori Ann with the dropped calls, and Ray too. Plus the others who are telling it like it is about Cingular. Cingular has made Millions of $ off people just like me, and like my little friends here in this paragraph. Plus ruining credits. Thank God people can dispute the crap from Cingular and get it removed. But that's also a hassle and we shouldn't have to go through it because of the mistakes and deliberate dishonesties of a huge corporation like Cingular. Which, by the way, is the reason they are huge, because they've robbed so many people. And... Because of "contracts", they are getting away with it. They have the upper hand over people, and they know it. But man, what goes around comes around and I hope all these people, me included, do sue the crap out of Cingular and take them for every dime they have. They wouldn't be so huge then, now would they???
WHY would everyday people like us want to lie about a large company like Cingular? It makes no sense. Just face the facts that Cingular is the biggest loser in the whole world, and everytime I see or hear someone about to sign up with Cingular, I warn them BIG TIME not to do it. I've told them my story, which was horrible, and they walk out of the Cingular store. Ha ha ha ha ha. I think I'll go hang out at the Cingular store today outside, and address all these issues with the poor souls about to walk in there and sign their lives away (practically) to the Cingular Ripoffs. Yea, makes for a good way to pass the day - knowing I'm helping people.
ANd... What would Jesus do? He would tell Cingular to repent before it's too late. Yes indeed...
