I noticed a charge on my credit card from a company I did not immediately recognize. I called Simple Escapes to find out more information.
I was told perhaps I had signed up for their service by clicking on a pop up window??? The customer service rep did not have a valid reason for my inquiry "How does that explain how you got my credit card number"
From reading other complaints on consumer complaints, I immediately called my bank. I am filing a formal complaint of fradulent activity. Additionally, the customer service rep for my bank suggested I report the card stolen to ensure this doesn't happen again.
