My husband was disabled in Jan because of a stroke. Unable to work unable to make card payments. Followed payment protection and capital ones instructions on how to get the payment protection kicked in to a tea. Payment protection Payed only the minimum amount and payed late so capital one charged late fees on top of membership payment plus interest which came to more than the protection plan paid so now he is being charged over limit fee's.
Have made numerous calls to get it straighen out with no avail. They say payments are being made on time and capitl one says not. We are now way over limit not because of us useing the card since DEC before his stroke. We are being ripped off and I feel helpless as I do not know what to do to get this ripoff stoped.
With all the complaints on Capital isn't there someone FBI or someone else that can stop thses guys from ripping off comsumers? I am at a loss as what to do to get these charged stoped? My husband will be on disability soon I hope but we are barely making ends meet now and are behind on everything. I would like some suggestions as what I can do
