Awhile back I noticed my bill was higher than usual. When I called Bell South they told me to call the company to find out why it was there. I was told I had signed up for an 800#. I explained I had no need for that and had not done it.
What gets me is they told me they would credit my account, which never happened. After four months I payed it. Six months later it just happened again. This time I feel the phone company is responsible. I didn't order or authorize any charge and by law it can not be done without my permission.
Another concern of mine is why if several people have reported this fraud, why is it still going on?
