Collection Letter Threatens Legal Action Over Deceased Borrower

I received a letter at my home address, addressed to Dale Welsh. The letter, from American Education Services, threatened legal action over alleged unpaid student loans for Dale Welsh.

Dale Welsh died in 2006, so American Education Services is just a tad late asking for repayment. To my knowledge, they will not verify where, when or how much is owed for the alleged student loans of the deceased Dale Welsh.
