Since day one, I have received my billing statement less than one week prior to its due date. Then GE calls the day after the due date demanding an on-phone payment. They then assess me a $10.00 phone fee. When I get the next bill (on 2 occassions never even received a bill) a late fee had been assessed. I just attempted to pay off the amount of the bill to get rid of these people and the payoff amount was $10.00 more than what the internet site indicated.
They refused to discuss the discrepancy because I was not my husband (who's name is on statement) but said they would take my payment. They would not tell me why the extra $10.00 was on the bill.
My husband called from home to tell them they had permission to talk to me. He called me to tell me this and I called them back. They denied that he called and still refused to speak to me. I will now be assessed a $10.00 overcharge, a $10.00 phone fee and a late fee because I didn't get the bill in time.
The "cons" in their company name is just that - they con you into all these fees.
