Received sales call to purchase product I did not want product but salesperson was very pressuring and advised that I can return if not satisfied. Salesman stated that my child wanted the product and I told him I could not afford. He again stated for any reason I could return. Finally, I agreed and when my son came home from school, he told me he was NOT interested but all students had to fill out the information.
When the product was dropped off at my door, we did not sign for it. The very next day my husband dropped off the unopened box as refused at the post office. I tried numerous times to get through and finally did and Ms. Kristy Taylor advised that all though product was received back as refused, the company policy requires I obtain an RMA. Therefore, I will not get refund.
Ms. Taylor does not return calls, even though she states she does. I told her that we cannot afford it and asked to speak with her supervisor. I don't know if she is the only one because no one else ever answers phone and although she says she will call and email, she NEVER does.
I spoke to an attorney and was advised that in the state of florida, telephone solicitation must be followed-up with written agreement that must be signed; otherwise, the sale is voidable by consumer at will and under federal law the charges must be removed. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company as also advised by the attorney and am trying to notify every complain agency that I can find.
I am very disheartened that I believed this pressuring salesperson that lied to me and now the company advises that they received the product and because I did not get an RMA they are NOT refunding me and the item was NEVER opened. I told them we cannot afford the item in these difficult times, but they don't seem to care whatsoever.
