World Traders Association (aka WTA. UTA), Not A Good Idea To Join ripoff, products are not low enough, training is poor, hard to make a sale

Not only did I lose time but also I lost lot money as well with WTA. I started on August. The training was inadequate. My trainer read off a script. I know because on their website they had that same script that he read word from word. He uses to respond to my emails quickly but no so lately. The last email I got from WTA was this (which I received after several calls and emails):

November 13

Dear WTA Members,

Due to some current rumors and confusion, we would like a moment of your time to state the facts.

In our effort to expand, we experienced some financial problems due to over extended advertising costs. Thus, we stopped selling memberships permanently. However, we have made arrangements to support all of our currents members as we always have. We will continue to provide inventory (over 1,000 products daily), provide inventory listing capabilities, joint venture, transaction completions, and order processing. We are also available to support and advise all current members.

Thank you for your time, we hope that this has cleared up any confusion.

Sincerely,
World Traders Association

I wanted to build a website of there inventory and try to sell their products to actual customers instead of retailers because their prices are too high (I found many items on their site cheaper on auction websites). They told me that I should not try to reinvent the wheel and I won't get any support from them what so ever for the website I wanted to build. They also told me that the people (retailers) who will be buying from WTA's members are not the type to be sitting behind a computer so it would be a waste of time. I guess to them that faxing and leaving voice mail is the best way to go. You fax over a generic 4 page script, that contains about ten select products, to the customer (I was told that they have already contacted every customer on the list that they gave me so it is not cold calls, Lies!), call them the next day, and if they don't hang up on you, keep on faxing them. I was not able to sell nothing! And what I understand if they buy something it is constantly faxing back and forth from you, the customer, and WTA to complete the sale.

I am now worried that a lot of their products on their website don't exist. I have been seeing a lot of the same products months after months. If I would have seen the members website containing all the products and prices I would have NEVER joined.instead, I was directed to a website called myexclusive.com that had the products but no prices. This website no longer exists, I found that out from a retailer I faxed. When they say that they got ten of thousands of products they mean that if they have one hundred of the same product that counts as one hundred products. The bottom line, the concept is a good idea but the prices don't represent great bargains as they stated to me before I joined, not even close. You could do better, like I did, buying clearance products from retailers and selling it on your own. If you like I could send you my email address for further details.

Not worth the investment (they said you could make over 100k per year not true, at least for me and it seems like plenty others)

Thanks
