I paid $149 bucks for this site along w / an additional $39 bucks for a personal web name (www.carmensales.com). I looked for sample "WHOLESALE" prices and was satisfied w / other wholesale claims on the web to be similar. Approx. 5 days later my site was built and complete with new webname. To my surprise the "WHOLESALE" price rendered to me is almost double that of local retail!
Example: Nintendo Wii Sport Bundle = Wholesale price: $331.64
List price recommended to customer = $599.99
I immediately asked for a refund of my purchase price... This is the email I got back:
The prices of the games consoles are exceptions. We charge our members the same price that we get from the suppliers that ship to the end buyers. Please do not use the prices of the xbox, WII or PS3 as a basis for our prices because these are exceptional items. The prices are higher simply because the demand is extremely high and the inventory is very limited on the market. We understand your concerns and yet we still see orders for these items come in every day. Please take the time to look at other products such as the CS50 from Plantronic listed for only $159.08 under the product tab Headset & Phones. Another example is item number Q5621A#ABA which is selling for about $124 on ebay and our price to you is only $70. (I didn't ask for this, I wanted to re sell the WII or PS3... What do I want w / a phone?!)
