Hi everyone. My husband enrolled last Spring. All was fine until he decided to transfer to another class in the beginning of the semester. His counselor ensured him that everything would be fine. Well, it hasn't been!
We started getting collection letters for over $3000.00. He was told that everything had been corrected, and he would be able to finish up his courses while overseas in Iraq. We continue to get the collection letters and they are constantly changing his financial counselor. I have called on his behalf many times to no avail. He has emailed to no avail. I was told that I would need a specail form filled out by my husband in order to talk to them about the account. I have a POA that covers everything. They said that was not good enough. They told me that they would email me and my husband the form. Guess what! No form was ever emailed! Suprise Suprise.
I cannot beleive that they are able to get away with this sort of thing. I know my husband has rights, and I would be very interested in filing a class action lawsuit. This is only a breif description of what has happened since the middle of summer. Someone please help!
