Simple Escapes ripoff fraud business

I was checking my account, unknown deduction of 149.95 comes up. I went to the bank to get more specifics, and found out a company called Simple Escapes had debited this amount from my checking account without my authorization!!! How would this company get my account number??!!!

I have never heard of, nor have ever been affiliated with such a company! My wife later found some junk mail in our desk where we keep our bills, ect and found this mailer titled "Simple Escapes". When she proceeded to read it, it said

If you take no action your credit card or other account will be charged automatically to renew your membership. (what membership?)

Beware of credit card and check card scams!!! Who can better regulate rip-off companies such as this? Good thing i was paying attention to my account, i was able to get all the money returned by my bank.
