Dalcor is just ripping everybody in the apartment complexes that they own in the water and gas bills. I live in sheffield square apartment at 14814 perthshire houston texass 77079 and they are charging on the size of the apartment meaning the bedroom size and not on the occupants. The water and gas bill this month for a 4 bedroom apartment was $104.36. The only thing gas is used for is to heat the water and everything else is electricity. Every month it is $5.00 approximately higher and the management office does not have a copy of the original bill. I live in a 4 bedroom apartment by myself and have lived here for 20 year this coming may and originally my ex husband and my two daughters lived here and they are no longer here. They supposedly are charging 0.7518797% of the total bill. No tenant can see the original bill dalcor is ripping everybody off and there has been so many water leaks and we the tenants are paying for them. How can you charge a tenant by the amount of bedrooms and not by the occupants as i know that in some of these four bedroom apartments as i heard today that there is 8 to 9 people living in them. This complex has 2 and 3 and 4 bedrooms apartments and charges by the size and not by the occupants and i know that this is illegal.
I have a friend that lives in the park apartments near here and they do not have gas and her water bill was only $18.00. This apartment complex has major health hazards and has a lot of city violation codes. Is there a lawyer out there who would like to take on a lawsuit that a few of us in this complex would be willing to do.
