Yeah I fell for it. I should have listened to the hubby. I was drawn to the ad by the MANAGER Trainee. You basically learn how to interview people, hire people, lie to them right to their face, and take their money all in a couple of weeks. So when people say it is sounds to good to be true or you think it... Listen to that.
I did make many friends while working there for 2 MONTHS. On our the first day, which is your initial training, the person sitting next to me asked if this was for real because the meeting was starting over an hour late. Well if you really want to waste half your life waiting for Mr. M., this is the right place for you. Oh and he will tell you it is not a pyramid scam. He is right because there is one person on top, him and he is getting all the money. He told us just how much he would get if the offices are open. And he tries to tell you that he doesn't make much money off of you if you are just in training, that wants you in your office making money for the company. Really doesn't hold you breath for that to ever happen.
He constantly makes you feel bad for not hitting the goals. The biggest incentive is to meet the companies president and the first time was in Altantic city. Well guess who never showed up because his mother died. Who in their right mind would make up a lie like that, it is horrible. So we go there and are told, you need this to get through the program in about 10 days. Oh wait I forgot, there is an office in New York that you are competing with. So I don't know who he has teamed up with in New York, But I hope somone finds out and gets him in jail too.
So we are in AC and his wife and kids come along. I must admit they are soo cute and innocent to be caught up in this with Mr. M and Jaime. And Jaime I really hope she is real because she seems so sweet. But who knows because even this Rob guy seemed nice, but just wanted to sleep with anything that would let him near her.
Then again they offer to the "New class" a trip to AC. But the catch is, is that after that "special manager's class" You have to call him every night and hit the goals every other day. Impossible. I took one night to spend with my family doing something fun, and he made an example out of me at the meeting the next day.
Thank god I had some money saved to fall back on, but I spent a lot of it on product just so I could get my office. And to think some people who I hold very dear to me, I had to lie to. You know treat people the way you would want to be treated MR. M. If someone came and scammed you out of money, how would you Feel?
Oh also, adding to what others have said... Yes No corporate office, No Chuck, nothing. Cindy packages and ships everything. I caught it. The return address said Lancaster... Her explaination was that "If it needs to be return it goes to the home office" I called UPS and had it tracked back to the source and it was Reading... The city on her way to work in lancaster. You call her, even on her cell, (which now she is the "operations manager"), and no one answers... Ever.
I know all of the people I trained with need to get together and get them in jail. There was someone on channel 8 news tonight and where were they chasing Mr. M around? A bar, like usual.
