Company Makes you feel like a Million Dollar Asset RIPOFF

American Income Life Insurance is a total job scam. I had posted my resume on Monster.com quite a while ago. All of a sudden in February I receive a call from the "Omaha Office". I had a good job at the time so I wasn't really interested, but thought what the heck. So I called the number back.

I talked to the receptionist who seemmed nice. She asked me a few questions and then asked me to come in for an interview. I told her that I was not interested in commuting to Omaha everyday. She told me "you will have your own office in Lincoln in a few weeks." I then told her that I do not have any sales or management experience, she said that is fine also.

Finally I said ok and arranged an interview. I thought it was kind of weird that the times that they schedule interviews were block times. Still I went on. I took the day off work, and went to my 1st interview. I was asked probably 5 questions, not about my work though. Just basic stuff, "Where do you want to be in 5 years, Do you want to make a lot of money, etc." My interviewer said everything sounds & looks great, and he needed to talk to the State Director. He comes back in and asks me if I can come back for an interview later that day. I agree.

I go to the next interview and it is just a group of people, some of which I would never ever hire in my life, sitting in a big office. Some guy named John, I think, comes in and just starts talking about how much money we are going to be making right away. After the "2nd Interview", the person who interviewed me first took me into a room and asked if I had any questions. Ignoranat me, I just ask when they will be making a decision. He said later that day.

I go back home to Lincoln, excited about the new opportunity for advancement, income potential that I had just been shown. They called me later that night and wanted me to come in for yet another interview. I agreed. That interview lasted probably all of 2 minutes. He told me to think about it over the weekend and call on Monday. I thought about it over the weekend and talked to my family & friends and they all thought that this was an amazing offer that I could not pass up.

I called on Monday and accepted their offer. I then receieved a call from the person that hired me, telling me that I needed to go to a Management Meeting in 2 weeks. I put my resignation in at my job and I thought I was on my way to unlimited possibilities. I went to the managment meeting; all that was talked about was an upcoming trip to Mexico. I thought "Wow, thats impressive".

My first day was the next day. I showed up for training with 6 other people, only 1 or 2 of whom were at the Management meeting the previous day. Some girl asked what our pay cycles would be. The "Trainer" said "you don't get paid for training, but you need to purchase this study packet to pass the state license test." It wasn't until my first day there, on my lunch break that I finally figured out that this was a scam. I have never heard of not getting paid for your training.By this point though it was too late for me, I hadn't spent any money, but I lost my previous job and my car blew up also.

I wish I would have know about this website before. This company lists hundreds of jobs on Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com and Others I am sure. This company needs to be stopped!!
