I joined this site in Sept. 05 and was a regular member (non paying) for about 3 months and then was gifted a premium membership. People can buy you a premium membership so you can then get the extra special sweeps. I always wondered what distinguished the sweeps and how it was decided what was worthy of premium price. I had received a 6 mo. Membership which costs $20 and when that expired I signed up for a year which costs $30.
I didn't post much in the forums at first but when I did I noticed fairly quickly there were little cliques who seemed to be able to speak freely and attack certain members without reprocussion. The sader thing was that the sites moderators participated in these attacks.
6 Mos.into my renewal I was banned from the site with no warning and no reason why. You are treated like an outcast and you now do not have access to certain areas of the site. I then sent an E-Mail to the webmaster asking for half my membership fee but have not received a reply nor have I received my money.
This site has been promoted as family friendly but is anything but that. I have seen threads on anything from porn to illegal acts and I would never allow my 13 year old to read them.
My thoughts don't pay for sweeps you can get for free and don't read filth on a sweepstakes site.
