The owner of this site got tired of me asking him when all the fixes and new features were going to happen. He got mad when I pointed out that he didn't create the software himself.
After three years of me supporting the site (providing sweeps info, helping newbies, giving GOOD recommendations, etc.) he banned me. That meant I couldn't access the premium parts of the site that I had paid $30 a year for.
He refuses to answer email or any other kind of contact as stated by a previous customer. He does disappear from the site for long periods of time leaving no information for even his trusted moderators. The customers bring in the product (sweepstakes information) and he takes credit (and money) for it!
Up until January I would have been one of the loyal customers replying that it's a wonderful site. All I can say is that those people are either new to the site or haven't been ripped off YET. They will be. It's just a matter of time.
The 'report' from his supporter calling the original complainant names is a typical user comment from the site nowadays. If you don't agree with the owner, you are the scum of the earth.
As far as 10,000 users goes, I challenge someone to throw a dart at the member list and find an actual active user. I know three people who joined but never use the site. I have friends who also recommended the site to family members who joined but also don't use the site. Some of them joined as 'premium' members but were also summarily banned for no legitimate reason.
I could go on about blind loyalty - it's what got our country in the mess it's in now but that's another story - but everyone has to learn the hard way, even with great sites like consumer complaints.
