I too ordererd the trial shipment of coffee and free coffee grinder advertised for $9. Then I saw my checking account charaged $34. When I called they said there was $23 shipping/handling fees. I never saw that when I ordered. But I did go back to the offer and if you click on "Click here for details" which does not look like a link you will see..
"Your initial order will be shipped to you within 10 days of your ordering. Please wait at least 2 weeks from order to receive your initial order. A small one-time handling fee of $25.00 will be added to your initial $9 order. Cancel anytime by calling us at 888-217-CAFE."
I called and was lucky that someone answered. She said that if I did not open the package and returned it I would get my money back. As soon as it arrived I will do that. Gavalia always has similar offers but there is no outrageous shipping charge such as this. Their ad states: "Try two 1/2 pound packages of our exceptional coffee for only $14.95, including shipping and handling, and receive a 12 Cup Programmable Stainless Steel Coffeemaker as a special gift." A much better deal.
