I placed an order for a special offer from Seattle Coffee Direct for a free coffee grinder and 2 packages of my choosing of coffee. When I received the coffee and grinder I checked my account at the bank to be sure that all was good. I was quite surprised to see that they
have withdrawn $34 from my account! I called immediately and was told that this was $9 for the coffee and $25 for shipping! I advised that I was cancelling my account and did not want anything further from them. This was on Nov 3 of this year. I was again checking my bank account on Nov 9th and was shocked to see yet another charge from
Seattle Coffee Direct, this one was for $38.95. I did not authorize this charge, nor did I order anything else from them. As I had not received anything from them physically, I did go to my bank to set a dispute
in place. I also closed my account so that they can not do this again. An $80 lesson is a little more than I can afford, but not as much as I have heard that some people have been billed.
