Okay so i was with jaime back in she was one of my trainers. When i first was looking for a job i spent all day sifting thru ads, making sure to beware of companys just like this. There it was: "general office! Will train! Earn big bucks!" yeah right! I over looked at first but when i was calling ads, i mistakenly called theirs. When they ansewered it seem to be somewhat professional. I was new at this so bare with me.
They took my name, info and set me up with an interview. I was so stoked. I needed a job, i wanted to feel independent. When i got there it seem a little odd. There was loud crappy britney spears playing, simple furniture (not quite bussiness like) and a tint window in the middle (i guess for spying on the next victims.) i was interviewed by a girl named rosie. She seemed no older than my sister who is three yrs older. She acted like a cheerleader more than a owner. She said she liked my resume and would give me a call later.
I got the job. I was to start the next day and to come dress professional. That day there was about 20 or so of us put in a back warehouse. We met kayla who gave a sad story of how life was like before this (they all have one.) then they promised that if we went through all this training levels you would get your own office. The day we were to do what was called "far" or friend and relatives.
It was a contest and if we sold a certain amount as a group we would all get promoted to next level that day and win 50.00 bucks each. I went and tried to sell my ass off. Then you think i would learn but i went back selling about 5. As you can guess kayla felt we didnt meet our goal. But because i sold 5.
I was able to go on a satalite that weekend. If you dont already know a satalite is. If not, basically it is a road to trip to another town where you spend a whole weekend (day and night) trying to sell. Then you have to share a room (guys and girls) in some cheap motel. For me this was so hard. I was a shy tryingto be a christian girl, never stayed in a motel 6 or even shared a bed with a boy. Needless to say because i didnt sell anything without kayla's help i had to sleep on the floor. Yeah and i was supposed to be lucky to go with her anywhere.
At the end of every satalite we met at chris westphal's office with his and the rest of our office for what i like to call "frat party meets voodoo brainwashing." there all these people shouting different vulger cheers and hanging out in the parking lot. Then we meet chris. Now his pathetic story is soooo fake i felt dumb just thinking about how i fell for it. And by the way its the same story every week hence the brainwashing. Then its time for promotions. All us rookies got promoted. Yeah just to keep us here.
I went for like 5 months with this crap! What a great time that was. Basically your day consist of a morning "pep" talk reminding you of how sh*#@$y your life is and that being here is gonna mke you better. Then you go out all day (no breaks unless u made money) and then come back and get told ur sales were not good enough so go back out until practically the next day.
I always sold my bottles for 22.00 so i only made 2.00 for ea. Sale. I was always broke away from home and literally ate nothing this whole time. I think the worst time was utah. They sent us up there in there winter (not telling us cali peeps how cold) and met with another office and tried to sellthere. We got into an accident and veered off a inbankment.
When we told chris, kayla, and rosie they thought it was funny. We then went to san diego where we met "big z". Yeah he's as pathetic as the rest he just knows his sh#*@. There me and jaime got screwed and abandoned bythe rest of our group and ended up working non stop until the sun rose the next day. To no avail we didnt do well and got our asses chewed out by kayla.
That weekend while there i brokedown and called my dad who lives in sd. He wanted to bring home so bad he sounded like he wanted to cry. He even said my grandmother was so worried she could sleep. Yet i stayed. I then went up to fresno. The best part of that you can say is that cause i didnt have money kayla (who went with us) made me sell while they ate because if i wanted to i could be like her.
Well the best part of that is that after a week of not eating i passed out while walking 10 miles down a stretch of road to sell to different stores. Did they care no. Sad to say even jaime didnt because she was trying so hard to finish that week because they promised her a office after. I didnt see much of jaime after that. She got her gold badge and had to go on non stop satalites to make money to get an office.
I stayed a little while longer but after hearing what happened to jaime in arizona. I had enough. These people feed on weak young people. They get to know your story and use it against you. They teach you to lie cheat and steal. And if your a girl they want u to use ur sexuality. I lost my dignity self esteem, trust in people, and faith i me from my family. I also ended up cut up messed up feet and lost a lot unhealthly weight. I pray everday for the people that get caught in this i hope they are safe and that god put in their hearts and minds that this is very very bad. For kayla rosie chris amnada and anyone else still feeding like pirhannas on innocent people remeber bad people always get theirs in the end always. And if you want to rebuttal bring it on ladies (including chris).
Im not that little girl u can beat up with your words. I grew up got smarter and shut down anything you put in my face. If anyone out there is trying to shut these jerks down count me in. I will go all the way to stop this company tv newspapers whatever! Just responed to my testimony. Lets bring these suckers down!
