In 2004 I was looking for a job for after school and came across this company Scentura Creations. A side branch of that was called Reign International. Owned by a couple of girls Rosie and Kayla. I called and was told it was a wholsale fragrance company that was looking for a customer service rep. I was told to come in for an interview cause the spots were almost full.
I went and let a person by the name of Rosie interview me and ask me questions like a standard interview where I was told to hold my questions till the second interview, if there even was one. I was called back for the second interview and was told that they needed managment positions filled and I would be great for that spot and would be traveling and receiving paid vacations and making up to 30,000 my first year. After, I was brought in to a room the next morning with a group of others who apparently qualified for this postion as well.
They told us about the perfume being better then Eua de' toilet. Oil and water and cheaper for to be bought at wole sale price. They also told me There would be four parts to this trainng: Trainning, becoming a trainer, managment, then owner of our own buissness Or Executive Owner. That u would be paid cash every day, that u needed to learn to market your product before u could own =your own business. Then you become apart of managment and work in the office learning to do interviews secritarial stuff, inventory, and all that.
Well, I was the only person they could keep in their office for overhead. I was the only trainer they had that sold 50 bottles or more. Per week. They told us to sell each bottle for 20 dollars and everything u charge over that is yours but u need to turn in the 20 each bottle u sell, to them the owner.
I did this for four months they would not promote me because they had no one under me that could fill that space. So they could make over head off of me, they held me back. They normally promote people into their own office with in 6 to 8 weeks.
They have a magazine the company Scentura Creations publishes ever two weeks about how the people are doing in their sales 50 Bottles or more is considers doing well and u are printed in to this magazine. Lets just say I was in the magazine everytime It was published in the peroid of time I was working for them.
When u have been selling for them for awhile you eventually are sent out on a "satellite" which is were they technically send there, best seller, with two of three weaklings in the office to another city. And they send you in your car. Doesn't matter who in the group but someones car within that group. They send u on this map adventure, sometimes even out of state.
I actually remember being on a satellite and getting pulled over in a city in arizona I couldn't tell you were because we were just driving through at 2 in the morning and I had been selling dooor to door for the whole day and was driving to the next city we would be selling in.
For those of you who have driven thorugh arizona you know of a couple highways that is all desert no sidewalk or cities for miles. I got excited when I saw a gas station and speeded up a bit to get there and go to the bathroom and go pulled over.
When I told them what happend they were like oh well thats your problem you pay it. Ok, I was using my car miles gas and money to pay for this hotels they sent us to and they wouldn't even help with a ticket. Not to mention my first ticket. I was ticked off.
Then They send you to "owners school" after a few weeks were you supposedly learn to do business within a building and learn to hire and fire people. And pretty much how to lie to these people the way they had lied to you, when they had hired you. Crazy to think that is when I finally put two and two together and realized I HAVE BEEN USED! They weren't planning to put me in an office anythime soon cause they wanted more money from me.
Then When I got sick and stayed home the threatned to fire me cause I hadn't sold anything that day.
These girls stayed in there office all day and did interviews with new suckers all day while I made them their money. I walked sometimes from 8 in the morning to about 2 am the next morning and drove and messed up my car shocks by having these other people I didn't know, and had to train, from adam and eve get in and out of my car every satellite used my own money to pay for their hotel room for us all to share and sneek into most of the time cause I never made enough to pay for more than one person.
Then these women told me they would put ten dollars towards my office when they finnally decided to put me in one. I finnaly reached the end of this god forsaken awful program. So I thought, only to find out after a few weeks that they had ben only putting 8 dollars per bottle towards my office and using the other money for their own office.
Luckly I had gotten sick long enough to realize that if I could have this much dedication for working for these girls and their boss Larry Something or other the owner of this company, I could do it for my self and finish school.in which they convienced me to dropp out of.
I evnetually quit.
Know two years later I find this site and I am glad, Even though now my car has bad shocks, warped roaders, and other things wrong with it and not to mention the money I put out for this to happen for me which I didnt. And my pride being take adavatage of.
I hope this company gets taken down for everything it is worth and that would be re-payment for me! And all the crap I went through. For those who come across be careful these people wil act like ur family and really care they don't they just want u to make them money and could care less if you died on a satellite in your car selling their perfume and cologne. The are ruthless liars and they need to be taken out of business.
