IMI - World Perfume - Zach Dunn - Sara Carl - Dan Long
Scam Jo

I saw an ad in the paper for a job. It was listed as... Entry Level Management, No exp necessary, Will Train. I called it up. The first thing this company will do is tell you "a little bit about the position" They say it's a M-F 9-5 job. You start off doing some clearical/office work... Then move up to management duties, Hiring/Firing and meetings. You'll get invited to a first independent interview... Then you'll get invited to a 2nd group interview. You sit in a room full of about 20 chairs waiting for it to began. There was also a man named Duke there who told us jokes while we waited.

All through the interviews i was trying to figure out what exactly my job was gonna be.in the 2nd interview a man named Zach Dunn tells you they distribute some of the top designer fragrances. He will tell you all about how you'll start off making $30,000-40,000 in your first year. Then he will tell you how you'll make so much in this industry that you'll get to retire at age 30 like Dan Long. A man who helped start this company... (you'll eventually meet him)

These are all lies! I'll tell you the truth about what really happens if you decide to work for this company.

Wednesdays, are training days. The new people who get hired always start on Wednesdays. They'll have you go out with some of the people who have been there longer than you and try to sell fake perfume and colonge to different stores. Then Wednesday nights they pressure you into going to "wings." This is part of thier brainwashing where they take you out and have fun with you to make you feel like a part of their family.

Thursdays, you go out and sell more. Except now they have you go to parking lots as well and sell. Oh, and did i mention you're selling this fake perfume out of the trunk of your car?! Then when you get back to the office they say..."Time For Thurday Nights!" Which is when they give you a goal amount of perfume for the night and you have to go out and try to sell it.

Fridays, are the "Best Days" they say. Thats because everyone gets paid... So that means you sell more bottles. OOpps. I mean "drop bottles." (this company has thier own lingo... You'll see) Anyways, you go to the office play some games with them and then they give you a goal for friday. Your goal may start off as 5... But it will quickly move up to 21. You and "your car" most the time will be out all night until the next day trying to hit each of your goals.

Why do you do this?! Oh, because if you don't hit your goals you dont move through the training program and don't get "promoted" and get your own office! Atleast thats what they tell you. Oh yeah and they'll make you feel like shit if you dont hit your goal. You have to hit your goal Friday in order to move through training. But if you hit your goal Thursday too... You can get a double promotion... WOW!

Saturday, you report to the office... Usually after just "dropping" your last bottle at the local mexican food place at 9am that morning. You have your same clothes on as Friday and didnt even go to sleep that night. But theres no selling on Saturdays! (unless you're trying to finish up a "hundred club" or some other goal for the week). Saturdays they play more games and sing songs with you. Then they do "Promotions." This is when they give a lot of recognition to those who hit there goals.in these "meetings" they have, your allowed to stand on chairs and cheer and act not the way a professional buisness would act. More of their brainwashing... They try to make things fun and make you feel good if you hit your goals. Then after this promotion meeting... They once again guilt you into hanging out with them. Usually you'll all go out to Waffle House or the Mall, maybe Paint balling, GameWorks, or Go-Cart Racing. Something fun, to keep you occupied the whole day and make you think that they're always there for you.

Sunday through Tuesday is when they almost force you to take there "Awsome Road-Trips!" And if you cant go cuz you wanna spend time with your family... They'll pull you aside, maybe yell at you, and ask why you're even working for them if you dont care about your future career. You go on the road with a group of 2-3 other employees and try to sell once again. You'll stop at trup stops and gas stations in unfamilar areas. They say that the company pays for the hotel... But really the person who is the "road trip leader" must sell two bottles of perfume to pay for it (and these were cheap motels, where usually someone would have to end up sleeping on the floor). Oh, yeah and on these roadtrips you have to call in at night to either Zach Dunn or Sara Carl so they can "Motivate" you and you can tell them how much you sold for the day. Most of the time you lie cuz they'll make you feel bad about the amount you sold... Then you're stuck out there the rest of the night trying to sell the amount you told them you sold... Either that, or you wake up really early the next morning and try to.

Now that covers your week. Does that sound like a M-F 9-5 job or as they call it a "career"?! Nope! These people not only make you feel horible but they lie to you, make you tons of promises that never happen. These people also have many excuses if you wanna question their company. But just look at all the reports on this company... Who do you believe?

My family as well as many of my other co-worker's families tried and tried to get us to see what was going on. But with all the time I consumed with this company i slowly drifted away from my family. It was like i was brainwashed. I look back now and have no idea why i'd choose to trust these people over my family and friends. This company even convinced me that school was worthless and they got me to drop out. I'm still trying to get back up on my feet financially.

Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you how you get paid. Basically, You have to give Sara Carl and Zach Dunn $19 back for each bottle you sell. You pay them in cash and you dont do taxes. Because these bottles are obviously fake its hard to sell them for more than $20... If that. So if i sold one for $20... That means i keep a dolllar. Sometimes we were trying so hard to hit our goals that we would even buy some of the bottles ourselves. Thats how bad it was.

Oh... I also got some tips from someone who's been working there awhile. Aparentley, when we would leave on Sundays for raod trips... Zach and Duke to go to ex-employees houses'. Yeah you'll see a lot of employees come and go... Well if you dont show up to work the next day and still have some of their fake bottles... They'll break into your house Sunday night. They'll either take the bottles back from you or take or break something else thats of value to you. Now, Does this sound like a legit compant to you?

The office i worked for is currently in Tempe, AZ. It's run by Zach Dunn and Sara Carl... Oh i forgot to mention that Zach and Sara live together (yeah they're either married or bf and gf, they wont tell you this). Anyways, it goes by the name IMI (innovative management). The number is currently 602-438-9922. Address: 3204 S. Fair Ln. But i asure you that they wont be here for long. Soon they'll change their number (they do that monthly)... And they'll be moving on to a new state. They move around a lot so they wont get caught... (since their buisness is illegal). I know they use to be in Texas, Colorado, Washington, i believe Florida... And Now Arizona.

Beware, don't be scammed like i was.
