I also was a seller on Amazon until they blocked by account forever. I started selling with them around June 10 and they automatically hold your funds for 14 days, which I am find with.in that 2 week period I sold about $1500 worth of Tapes.in this 2 week period they just want to make sure that they don't receive any claims against them.
Of course I still had to ship my items while this review was taking place which cost me about $500. After the 14 day period they released my funds.
After a week goes by they send me another email stating that because my account is a fast growing account it is under a 45 review and after 45 days they will release my funds depending I don't have any claims against me. Now they had $3000 of my money in sales. They did release it in 10 days to my surprise.
This whole time you still must ship your orders. After a week goes my I all of a sudden receive another email from Amazon stating that my account as been blocked and I will no longer be able to sell forever. Now they have $800 they are going to hold for 90 days. But they want me to still ship my items.
I receive my tapes from a third party so I can not confirm if they are copies or not. Amazon never gives you a chance to respond to their allegations.in the mean time they collected over $1000 in fees from me and that was okay.
If I was selling illegal copies (according to Amazon) why don't they refund the fees? Also there other plenty of other sellers that I am sure of are selling the same items but there account still is active. I feel that Amazon is collecting interest on all these accounts and we receive grief. Someone should investigate there practices.
