Do not sell on amazon.com they hold your money

The upstanding citizens here leaving negative complaints about Amazon.com are telling the 100% truth. Amazon DOES steal seller's profits by refusing to release them. When I first signed up on Amazon.com not too long ago I listed my items and made ten sales within one day.

I had over $1,000 coming to me. Little did I know that Amazon.com holds seller's payments until they receive a confirmation of the shipment. Some say that is OK and is to "protect" the buyer. Here's the catch; you have to undergo a "settlement period" where even if you send the confirmation number they can STILL hold your profits for two MORE weeks! Once I read that I decided to do a search for "Amazon.com" and "scam" on google. I was lead DIRECTLY to this site and many others! That was where I read about the "You account is under review" scam that Amazon.com runs.

My first sales were made on the first night I registered (i.E. Five sales), the next morning I had five more sales totaling over $1,000. Along with confirmation of my sales guess what else I received? You guessed it; a "Your account is under review (therefore we can hold and re-invest your money for 30 days and you can't do anything about it)" notice. I believe this company is probably on shaky ground financially JUST like AMEX is. Therefore the way they are "may" be bailing themselves out is by waiting for sellers to make sales, then holding their funds under this "review" scam. That enables them to use your money to buy assets for Amazon while you are out of product and money. This company needs to be shutdown immediately.
